We worked with Weedon Sports Association to design and install a solar panel and battery storage system that would significantly reduce the club’s electricity costs and improve long-term sustainability. - 16 x 470 Watt DMEG solar panels, totalling 7.52 kW of solar generation.
- 28 kW of Fox battery storage, offering substantial energy retention to maximise self-consumption and reduce reliance on grid electricity.
This high-performance system is designed to generate clean energy throughout the year and store excess generation for use during evenings, weekends, or periods of high demand.
Planning & Execution
Detailed planning was carried out to ensure minimal disruption to the sports association’s activities, particularly weekend football fixtures and community use of the facilities. A bespoke installation schedule was agreed with the client to accommodate these requirements.
From commencement to completion, the project was delivered in just five working days. This rapid turnaround included the use of scaffolding, ensuring full compliance with safety standards and uninterrupted use of the sports grounds.
